My axanthic 2007 male shed today.

just got my new EOS 450D canon camera, and it just happend to be that my axanthic male from 2007 shed out for me.. So what a perfect chance to get some new pictures.

Metzcal.com its up and running again.

I was so Glad when Pascal told me that a new version of metzcal is out.
If you do want to keep track of your reptiles behaviour this is the program to use, if you ask me.
Iv looked at degei, tried it to(free version) and to me the design of the system is aweful.
I did not like it one bit in any way, the only advantage Degei has is the barcode reader version.

But for a none barcode reader version, Metzcal is the one to use.


If only Pascal could make a barcode reader type, there would be no doubt what program is the best.
Since Im a lazy bastard at times, it would make me put in even more enteries than just the important ones. Like just what animal is in what rack slot, my brain knows(more or less) But to put it into the metzcal is just a tad more clicking than I bother. But with a barcode system I would.
Thinking of screwing up with whats in witch slot, a friend told me he was at Florida importers place something like 20 years ago, and the Importer was showing him some none-lethal snakes in a rack, and then he pulled open a yet another box and a Rhino Viper jumped out and landed on his lower arm..
Makes you want to keep track, even tough I have no venemouse stuff, there is a few not "happy campers" in the building. Witch gladly would draw some blood given the opertunity.

Well since there has not been any compulations to photograph yet.
Here is one of last years a baby granites 50% coastal blood influenced, he was a bugger to get started but is now feeding with gusto. And I hope to have him up to size this comming vinter.

I guess the reasonI have no breedings yet is the thougest winter we had had in 30 eyars, and with pr today still cold weather in norther scandinavia. Males are crusing the cages, but no copulations, I think this is because of the hard winter.
My females simply is not in spring mode yet.
A few fellow breeders have told me that hey not seen any copulations yet either.
To say the least its frustrating when I know breeders situated more south is now picking eggs.

I have hopes for here this season.

Axanthic X Jag Het Axanthic (JHA) and Jag Sibs Het Axanthic (JSHA).
Axanthic x normal coastal females, for you subspecies conscious people.
Diamond Jungle Jags Het Axanthic X Diamond Jungle Jag Sib Het Axanthic
Jag Het Granite x Het Granite, Jag sibs and pure IJs
Striped jungle x striped jungle (Im doubting the litle male had his juices going this season)

Tiger X Tiger.
This is what Im hoping for the most, my tiger pair in the U.S has finaly gotten the size, and if the female doesnt want to kill the male this season. Maybe there could be some eggs comming.

And there is some stuff with I cannot reveal at the moment.
But I will post more about it when things start to hatch..

I hope, seems like my males need viagra this year.
